“Poverty is the parent of revolution and crime.”

A student of Plato, a philosopher and apt in several different subjects and sciences, Aristotle is the last of the three most important figures in Western philosophy. His accomplishments are many, but some the most important marks he has made in history include creating a comprehensive and collective form of philosophy, which included morality, politics, logic and metaphysical aspects. He was one of the founders of formal logic, which is still studied and used today. Also his advances in metaphysics, which is a study and investigation of reality and its principles beyond those reaches of any other existing science, have made strides in the field that are still often cited and used today. Unfortunately only a fraction of his work still remains in existence today as over two-thirds have been lost to the hands of time. A very rich history, including tutoring Alexander the Great, and a wealth of contributions to knowledge and academia are the just some of the reasons Aristotle should be regarded as a true hero. He set the last pieces of foundation for Western academics.
