There is no easy way to begin writing about two people who have done so much for you. I will start by saying what I honestly hope I tell them enough. Thank you.

Thank you for never taking me for granted.

Thank you for the “busted knuckles”, oil stained shirts, and long hours spent, so you could provide what is best for our family.

Thank you for teaching me right from wrong.

Thank you for never giving up on me, even at my worst.

Thank you for teaching me to play the guitar.

Thank you for always supporting me, no matter how stubborn I am.

Thank you for sending me to school.

Thank you for every amazing meal, delicious treat, and gift you have ever provided.

Thank you for every time you have ever stood up for me.

Thank you for being a friend whenever I needed one most.

Thank you for always providing a place I could call “home”.

A parent is a wonderful thing to have, and I am happy to be blessed with two people who have realized the importance of this role. The things my parents have done for me throughout my life exceed the simple boundaries of unconditional love, and I am forever grateful.
