Fantasy in reality
Talk about living in a fantasyland! Walt Disney practically created himself one! But the glory of his work is that he has shared his fantasy with the entire world, letting anyone who wishes to set foot in the Magic Kingdom to be welcomed by an entourage of cheerful characters that are just out of this world. But like all dreams, Walt Disney’s dreams required much hard work, patience, and even a bit of luck. His legacy has survived and is most likely even greater than it was during his time. Mickey Mouse, considered a self-personification of Disney himself, is one of the most recognized images in the world. A tourist can go anywhere in the world and buy Disney branded products! Beyond the business standpoint, Disney really invented an outlet and recreation of the youth of world by transforming folklore into beautifully rendered full-length animated features. I can’t think of a child that has never heard of Disney or seen one of his movies or cartoons, and many parents rely on Disney’s films to be a wholesome form of entertainment for their families.
